Vivek Oberoi has been going through a bit of a drought when it comes to ground breaking films and blockbusters. He has been most known for some high-profile disagreements, especially with mega-star Salman Khan.

However, it seems that Vivek has kept his head held high and finds his inspiration from his adoring fans to continue on and make way for the future.

Although the actor is no stranger to the social networking world of Twitter, he has still taken time out of his day to make sure that his fans know that he not only appreciates them, but is hopeful that God will give him all that he needs to succeed in life.

“When God gives us a responsibility, He gives us the strength to fulfill it….thank u tweeple for being my strength…thank u for all the kind words, the inspiration and the heartfelt support…I’m deeply touched…love u all,” tweeted Vivek.

Obviously he understands the importance of creating a large fanbase, and he has taken full advantage of the intimacy that Twitter gives celebrities and their fans.

It may be the saddest news to most fans, but the 2010 FIFA World Cup has come to an end, and what an end it was! There were ups and downs, disappointments and surprises, and it all ended with one of the heavy favorites on top yet again!

Spain was expected to do extremely well in this year’s cup, and aside from Brazil most experts felt that Spain would be the undeniable winner of the World’s tournament. However, many spectators (especially some of our Bollywood favorites) are having mixed feelings about the game.

Most of Bollywood’s biggest names are all aboard the Spain banwagon including Vivek Oberoiwho tweeted, “Proved to be the best in europe and now the best in the world….well done, well played and well deserved! Viva espana!”

Following the lead of Vivek were Shahid Kapoor, Sameera Reddy, and Karan Joharwho were all quick to pronounce their new love for the Spanish side (and the lovable octopus who seems to know the future).

However, not everyone was as pleased with Spain’s victory; Bollywood mega-star Shahrukh Khan seemed to be the only one who actually watched the game as he tweeted his amazement at the atmosphere of the final game, but his displeasure with the game itself. “Everything awesome in the stadium except the game…scared soccer rules over fearless football…hardly beautiful,” explained SRK.

Finally someone who doesn’t just read scorelines!!! We knew there was a reason for giving SRK the title of King of Bollywood; he’s the only one who seems to know what he is talking about!

Vivek Oberoi was full of nothing but positive things to say about the fashion show he attended featuring designer Shiana NC.

Shiana NC is a fairly new fashion designer who specializes in saris, and her show highlights her talent by displaying 36 different ways of wearing a sari.

Apparently Vivek is a huge supporter of that particular piece of clothing as he tweeted,  ”as a guy, I think saris make a woman look so dignified and graceful, so sensuous and cultured! Saris are so perfect in how much they reveal and how much they cover…capturing a man’s imagination so beautifully!”

Maybe Vivek is on to something here! Look at this model from one of Shiana’s fashion shows!

It seems as though Bipasha Basu has pushed the limits of sexy yet again. The model/actress is known for her suggestive scenes, public kisses and sexual context, and it seems as though she has reveal a bit more on the world wide web.

Reports claim that the actress can be seen topless in an Indian commercial found on YouTube. The clip is said be directed by Ken Nahoum and co-starring Vivek Oberoi. The clip is not a recent video, in fact, it is considered to be one of her earliest jobs as she tried to break into the modeling industry.

Vivek has not been able to respond to the rumors of the clip, however Bipasha’s manager admits that it was an ad done in 1999, and was meant for an international market. It is odd that an old clip such as this one finally came to every one’s attention; maybe Bipasha leaked it herself in hopes to raise awareness to just how hot she really is.

Well it is the 2nd Sunday of May, and all around the world mothers are being appreciated and pampered. It is always nice to give a little extra credit to that special lady in every one’s life, and it’s even nicer to see that the big stars of Bollywoodtake time to show their love for their moms! Except for Abhishek Bachchan, who was a little preoccupied with Chelsea’s victory in the English Premier League.

Throughout the Twitter world each star has taken some time out to mention their dear old mothers. Vivek Oberoi sent out a pretty flattering message to his mom, “Happy Mother’s day to all the mothers out there….and most of all to my amazing, incomparable and adorable maa!!! Love you maa-ur the best!”

Shahrukh Khan, reflected on his memories of his mother, and admits that the holiday is often a bit sad for him. However, SRK still made sure to acknowledge his lost mother, “ Mothers day reminded me so much of my mom. a soldier in spirit & body carrying on orders of god to give victory to her kids. miss her.”

And even the ladies of Bollywoodtook some time to send love to their mothers. Sherlyn Chopra decided to make herself an honorary mother, but her child is a little more smelly and hairy than most. OK so she does not have a child, but claims her dog as her little ‘diva’ and shared a picture of her and her loved one. That must be one of the happiest dogs in the world. I know I would be if the gorgeous actress laid a kiss on me!

Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi has made his way back into the media’s spotlight recently. Sources reveal that months after his little spate with fellow actor Salman Khan, Vivek is still reluctant to approach Salman and even goes to great lengths to avoid the Bollywood star.

Apparently the two actors’ paths crossed at an event where Vivek was performing, and upon hearing that Salman was at the same venue Vivek locked himself in his trailer until his foe had left. But who knows? Maybe Vivek received an important phone call, that lasted over an hour, and ended right after Salman left! Or maybe he was spending time with one of the two females he was spotted with last night.

That’s right sources report that Vivek was at a night club, Valhalla, and was being accompanied by, not one but, two beautiful ladies. One of which is a upcoming fashion designer. The actor made certain that the two ladies had and exceptional night, and seemed to be getting cozy with both of them at different points of the evening. If only Salman could see him now!  Oh and he has two movies in the making for 2010!

It seems like the Bollywood and Hollywood collaborations are heating up. Award winning producer Akon has been roped into SRK‘s new film RA 1 which will begin filming later this month in Miami.

Directed by Anubhav Sinha (Tum Bin), science-fiction superhero hi-tech film Ra.1 is written by David Benullo (Shadow Man), cinematography by Ueli Steiger (The Maiden Heist), and music by Vishal-Shekhar. Besides Shahrukh, it also reportedly stars Filmfare winners Kareena Kapoor (Jab We Met) and Vivek Oberoi (Company).

Shahrukh reportedly plays a Miami software engineer Shekhar in the film, who as a video-game hero takes on his self-created techno-monster Ra.1. Shooting locations include Miami (Florida, USA) and Shahrukh’s wife Gauri Khan (Billu) is the producer.

It is rumored that film has a production value of one hundred crores.

Prince Vivek on his Ducati

After having left the Bollywood scene in 2005, Vivek Oberoi is back!! He made his grand entrance, in the true style of a “Prince” on a 1098 yellow Ducati to a promo party releasing the music of his upcoming movie, Prince. Vivek Oberoi has a lot riding on the success of this movie, as it’s the first solo film he has done since Kisna in 2005. ““I am very excited about the film because it has something that I have never done before. I am the solo hero, so it is very important for me. I hope it would give a positive turn to my career,” he said at the music launch party.

This movie is an issue based film directed by Prakash Jha. Rajneeti is an upcoming 2010 Indian political thriller to be directed by Prakash Jha. The film is scheduled for release on May 28, 2010.

Vivek Oberoi makes a Fool of Himself...Again!

Vivek Oberoi we honestly fail to understand you. Your a failing actor with a bad image, and now your just making a complete fool out of yourself. Well rumor has it Vivek Oberoi showed up completely uninvited to Shahrukh Khan’s party at his home “Mannat“.

Yup Vivek rolled up in his yellow bike and threw himself out on the dance floor and danced solo. Guests including his ex-flame Aishwariya Rai Bachan and the remaining Bachan clan just stepped back and watched the spectacle.

Gauri Khan was so bothered by his presence she asked hubby Shahrukh to “Throw the Jerk Out!” Well the King Khan politely let the actor stay but luckily the embarrasement was too much to bear and Vivek walked out.

Unfortunately for Vivek, his yellow bike couldn’t deal with the shame and didn’t start so Vivek was forced to leave it outside of “Mannat“. Well Vivek we hope you’ve learned your lesson and maybe you’ll go into hiding for a while…I’m sure no one will mind.

From the look of the picture it looks like one of those, “OMG! Famous celebrity, quick take my picture (even though I’m making a werid face)” kinda things…

But no…it’s not one of those things…

Vivek Oberoi and Abhishek Bachchan were some of the guests who were invited back to Shahrukh Khan’s house, Mannat, for Hrithik Roshan’s birthday party afterparty (…phew, that was a mouthfull!) A guest at the party said, “Shah Rukh certainly did not want any of his guests to feel tense at his home. Besides, he had personally invited Abhishek, Aishwarya, Vivek and many others to Mannat, when they met at Hrithik’s birthday party in Juhu.”

If you ask me, it looks like Abhishek is discreatly asking Vivek for some advice…play along readers:

Vivek (looking around, whisphering): She loves it when you wear her Miss World crown in bed!

OoOooOo….low blow, I had to go there!

You get these two guys together, have them throw a party and you know it is going to be a wild one. These two gents collaborated on their birthdays with a A lister event at thein Mumbai, but Vivek Oberoi stole the show with his new yellow Ducati 1098 motorcycle. It was the talk of the party, I mean who rolls up to the party/club in a motorcycle. Afterwards the A-listers took the party down to Mannat and threw a party that went early to the next morning.
