However, in a recent interview Mrs. Khan was quick to squash any rumors about her in the movie industry. “I did the ad because I felt like it. But Bollywood? I am too old for it. I would’ve considered Bollywood if I had been a little younger. At this age, it’s completely ruled out. Being in front of the camera is a lot of hard work, and I’m not cut-out for it. I was so tired doing the commercial that I slept for two days after that,” she explained.

I’m sure Shahrukh would disagree with the idea that his wife is too old for the business, but she seems to be ok with letting her husband have the glory of the spotlight. She also insists that being the wife of a superstar is no different than being a wife of anyone else.

“Don’t ask me how it feels to be a superstar’s wife. It doesn’t feel anything different. I can’t keep on praising him all the time. That would be so boring,” Gauri said.

Either way it seems like SRK’s wife is extremely down to earth and level-headed. It seems like the old saying stands true…behind every great man is a better woman!

SRK is all set to star in the upcoming sequel, ‘Don 2′, which was made by Farhan Akhtar, and Arjun was approached to be one of the supporting actors for the film. However after originally agreeing to terms and a role in the movie, reports state that Arjun has raised his price.

This increase in payment demand left Farhan with no choice but to drop the actor from the cast, and has also left a bitter taste in the mouth of SRK. Apparently the two are not going to be buddies much longer, as Shahrukh decribed the actions of Arjun as “unprofessional”, and made his displeasure seemingly obvious.

Maybe the raise in price was a reaction to the way King Khan had burst in on Arjun’s press conference with Kareena Kapoor for their latest flick, ‘We Are Family’. Being the two leading actors, Arjun and Kareena were set to promote the movie at the conference when Shahrukh busted in stealing the spotlight and claiming to be the films “good luck charm”.

It seems that Arjun may be looking for more money in compensation for a loss of exposure due to his larger than life colleague. One thing is for sure, this new spat can be described as nothing more than a serious clash of egos!

‘We Are Family,‘ stars Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal were taking part in a press conference for the movie when Shahrukh Khan made a surprise enterance and joined the two as a self described “good luck charm”. It is understandable that SRK has a bit of an ego, but to crash a conference for a movie that he had no part in seems to be a bit much.

I’m sure Karan appreciates any promotional help that he can get from the superstar in order to further the success of his movie, but I doubt Kareena and Arjun were extremely happy about sharing their spotlight with him.

It seems that SRK’s head has become a little too big. After being overlooked by close friend Farah Khan in her latest film, and not not finding room for himself in Karan’s film; it seems like Shahrukh may be getting scared that his time to fade into the background is coming faster than expected.

Farah is a renown choreographer and director in Bollywood and has put out many hit films starring her good friend and King of Bollywood, SRK. However, reports have suggested that the two have come to a breaking point due to the fact that Farah has not been casting SRK in her latest films.

For example in her newest project, Farah opted to go with Akshay Kumar over the available Shahrukh, which immediately had media in an uproar as to why she would not want her friend and one of Bollywood’s greatest stars in her film. However recently SRK had put the rumors to rest about any kind of falling-out between the two as he wished her and Akshay luck in, ‘Tees Maar Khan’.

“My friendship with all is as it was before, love them the same way. Many times if we are not working with each other doesn`t mean that I hate her or end of friendship.” explained SRK.

Shahrukh even expressed his hope for Farah’s success in all of her business ventures, “ I just hope she become even a bigger producer. Yes, she is a friend of mine. I am not doing a film with her, which doesn`t mean I don`t love her,” concluded the superstar. What a stand-up guy!

Of course when the time is appropriate, SRK has no problem getting dressed up in his best outfits; however, the actor stresses that on his day to day it is his style to keep things plain and simple. “White T-shirt, blue jeans without belt, white socks without holes, innerwear without an ego and smile on the face is my style,” explains the actor.

Although most people would mistake his dress as being completely unfashionable, SRK has no need to worry about what others think about the things he wears. King Khan worries more about his talents and work, and leaves the petty fashion wars for those less fortunate in the entertainment biz.

Shahrukh does admit that he owns a large amount of his trademark glasses, but still sees no need to be more fashionable than that, and who can blame him? When you are that big and talented, do you really need to be fashionable? He’s an actor not a model, and I think most people enjoy the pedestrian look that the superstar sports anyway.

SRK has been in London for the past few months shooting films, and hanging out with close Bollywood friends and former foes (Karan Johar, Kareena Kapoor, Aamir Khan, etc.), but the final takes for the film have been done and now the actor has his eyes set on Mumbai, and the release of the film he’s been working so hard on.

“Had a wonderful wrap party for the crew.all in high spirits &danced to my songs…I hope we can celebrate the release of the film same way,” explained King Khan on twitter today. And it seems as the actor has sorely been missed.

Even aging beauty Sherlyn Chopra used her opportunity on Twitter to beg for the star’s return. “Hi Mr. Khan, Mumbai is missing you terribly. Pls come back soon. God Bless,” tweeted the actress.

It seems that Bollywood just is not the same without it’s King!

SRK has taken interest in Karan’s film simply because of those involved (Karan, Kajol, Kareena Kapoor), and noticed that the film was set to release on the same weekend as Salman Khan’s, ’Dabangg’. Having much respect for his fellow actor, SRK informed Karan that it may be in his best interest to change the release date on his movie.

Shahrukh and Salman haven’t always seen eye-to-eye, but it seems that SRK knows when to concede.  

The director of ‘We Are Family’ is actually Siddharth Malhotra, who also trusts in the words of King Khan, and has expressed his appreciation for the Bollywood superstar’s input on the film as a whole. “Both Karan Johar and I are very eager to show ‘We Are Family’ to Shahrukh, who proves that he is indeed part of the family,” explained Siddharth.

Recently Shahrukh and Aamir has have put the past differences behind them as the two were seen having lunch in London in late June, and the two have also been rumored to be planning a film together with Bollywood director Karan Johar.

Although Salman has always had a closer relationship with Aamir, he has never been shy about praising the rival Khan. Salman tweeted, “EVERYBDY shud watch this film. Its comedy, tragedy, khulasa, sansani and breaking news,” after seeing ‘Peepli Live’.

Salman also explained that he will refuse to let Aamir touch him after that film, as he fears that Aamir has the “Midas Touch” and will turn him into gold.

“Looking forward to shooting with shahana…i think she is a very very fine actor…will learn a few things from her for sure,” admitted the actor on Twitter today about his 23-year-old co-star. Although the leading lady in the film is Kareena Kapoor, we always like to take the opportunity to highlight new young talent and Shahana is just that!

Despite her age, Shahana has been the Bollywood shadows for almost five years now, and when SRK is excited to work with someone something must be pretty special. Lets hope that Shahana and ‘Ra. One’ lives up to all the high expectations.

The trio have been spotted having dinner and drinks in London over the past few days, and Karan enjoyed a private screening of Aamir’s latest film, ‘Peepli Live’, courtesy of Aamir himself. So it seems that the eventual teaming of the three was inevitable.

It wasn’t too long ago that fans would have never dreamed of seeing SRK and Aamir in the same movie together. The two star actors have always been each other’s biggest competition, but leave it to the abstract mind of Karan to find a way to make the tandem work.

Karan is the mastermind behind the pairing of the two on screen and with his edgy and original films; the idea of the pair working well together seems completely possible.
