Mallika Sherawat is still doing all that she can to make a name for herself in the film industry. She has done plenty of work in Bollywood, but as the actress shows on her Twitter account; her true desire seems to rest in Hollywood.

It was not too long ago that the actress had posted a picture on the social networking site with big time actress Salma Hayek, and then the actress proceeded to announce that the two of them were close friends. Unfortunately for Mallika, when Salma was asked about Mallika, the Hollywood actress hardly remembered meeting Mallika.

However, it seems that Mallika has finally made a real friendship in Hollywood and that is with the gorgeous and talented Sharon Stone! Sources say that the two recently met at a promotional function, and became extremely close with one another sharing stories of work and play.

Also if the reports are to be believed, the two may be working with each other shortly, which means that Mallika maybe getting her wish of breaking into the Hollywood scene. I guess only time will tell!

It is no secret that Bollywood starlet Sonam Kapoor is the most popular actress in Mumbai to date. She is currently taking on the busiest year of her career, and the actress could not be happier as she claims that it is all part of her childhood dream.

However with such a high demand for the actress in Bollywood it is no surprise that Hollywood has come begging for her talents.

Rumor has it that many Hollywood producers and directors have been hoping to sign the actress on to their films, but as she grows bigger in her homeland that actress claims that she is not ready to leave it all behind for America.

Sonam did say that she couldn’t imagine saying no to a big Hollywood flick if she has the time to do it, but is extremely busy for the time being.

“This is definitely my most productive year. I completely enjoy overworking,” explained Sonam. I’m sure everyone is enjoying seeing more and more of her as well.

Dev Patel has stated that he is unsatisfied with the script offers that he has been receiving, and claims that Hollywood may have a slightly racist agenda when casting for actors.

Dev does say that he was very grateful for the opportunity of doing his first big film, ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, but feels that the other roles being offered are too stereotypical. “For my second film I wanted a role that would stretch me, but all I was getting offered were stereotypical parts like the goofy Indian sidekick,” explained the actor.

Dev and his co-star Freida Pinto have made a huge foothold for Indian actors and actresses, however he feels that he is not being challenged enough for new roles. “ I`m likely to be offered the roles of a terrorist, cab driver and smart geek… I want to show that I have versatility,” Dev claims.

Unfortunately I’m going to have to turn on one of my favorites, but Dev you sound ridiculous! First off any actor able to play a terrorist, a cab driver, and a nerdy geek in seperate films is the definition of the word versatile! However, if in every role you play it seems like you’re a nerdy cab-driving terrorist, then that is your own fault. It shouldn’t be the role that makes the actor, but the actor who makes the role; it’s your job to get the roles and make them special and unique. 

Lets not forget that the ‘Airbender’ movie should have been a slam-dunk due to the series’ already huge following, but that didn’t turn out so well. Soooo… it looks like ”challenging” films are the last thing you need!

It sounds like Dev is just being a bit of a baby, and looking for excuse to divert audience attentions off his last movie.

Dev Patel seems to be a little embarrassed of his latest role in the film ‘The Last Airbender’, especially since the film has not been favored among reviews and critics.

A lot of fans were anxious to see the film because the concept and the cast and crew seemed to be a foolproof blueprint for success. Now it is possible that the success of ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ might have made Dev a little spoiled when it comes to Hollywood critics, but he is definitely feeling the effects of it now.

 What probably hurts Dev the most is that he seems to agree with the negative things being said about the film. “You know, you can`t lie and say that every single review written about the film is wrong,” explained the actor.

Dev admits that there are parts of the movie that he feels were really good and enjoyable, however, thinks that his vision for the film and character was somewhat ignored on the set. “I didn`t have as much say as I would have liked in the film. Yes, there are parts in it that truly amaze me. But there are others, you know…,” he concluded.

It’s always nice to get a little glimps of the stars while they are just hanging out and having fun. Noureen Dewulf posted this picture today with Paul Iacono, the star of the MTV comedic series ‘The Hard Times of RJ Berger’.

The picture gives fans a look at Paul’s cooler side, outside of his role of a misfit nerd on the show. And Noureen just proves that she looks incredible all the time!!! The only problem with the whole picture it the UCLA hat being worn by Noureen, but i guess she can’t be perfect all the time.

After some time on the road, and a little vacation, Jay Sean claimed to hit the studio hard to put out his best album yet. Today Jay posted a sneak peak of his latest music video, ’2012′, which was aired on MTV News.

It’s a club hit with a catchy chorus, not much lyrical substance, slight resembles the song ’1999′ by the Prince and also features a stunning and talented female rap artist known as, Nicki Minaj. The only problem is Jay’s claim that this album was going to be the “sickest” ever doesn’t exactly seem accurate.

I realize that this is just one song and one music video, and artisit traditionally make their singles sound alike to create recognition. However, it just seems like Jay is up to his same ol’ tricks, but if ’2012′ is any indication of the rest of the album; you might as well have named the album ‘All or Nothing Part 2′.

As recently mentioned, Noureen Dewulf jumped at the opportunity to play a role in MTV’s new comedy show, “The Hard Times of RJ Berger.” Noureen posted a link to the episode on Twitter (Click to see: Episode 6), so we had to see what all the buzz was about.

The show itself  seems like the new-age, ‘Malcom in the Middle,’ and stars a lot of fairly unknown young talent. The show offers plenty of histerical moments as well as some that seem a bit ubsurd, but overall entertaining.

Noureen’s character is named Claire, who happens to be a English-Indian high-school student who moves next door to Paul Iacono’s character (RJ Berger). 

RJ’s original intentions for Claire were to use her as a “clunker” (an easily get-able girl who is used as practice for sex). Unfortunately for RJ, Claire sports a “purity-ring”, which means that she is saving sex for marriage and obviously foils RJs plans. There is a funny twist in the whole “purity club” aspect of the episode, but RJ eventually falls for Claire anyway leaving more Noureen for us to see on the show!

Did I mention she looks AMAZING in the show?  As if there was ever a time that she didn’t.

Noureen Dewulf is gorgeous, can act and the girl has an incredible sense of humor! So it is no surprise that during her rise in Hollywood the actress would spend some time on a comedic television show.

“Starting this Monday night, I’ll be on ‘Hard Times of RJ Berger’ on MTV at 10 pm,” confirmed Noureen earlier today.

The actress has shown a humorous side in many of her roles, especially in the Hollywood hit, ‘Ghost of Girlfriends Past’; and she adds that she is excited for this new project, “..so happy to be on this hilarious show.”

I’m sure there are many of Noureen’s fans who can’t wait to see her, and while working with MTV she may be able to attract younger audiences as well.

Sonam Kapoor has enjoyed a pretty successful year so far, and happens to be keeping quite a busy schedule starring in films along side Shahid Kapoor and Akshay Kumar. However, the latest news surrounding the Bollywood actress is that she may be headed across the world to Hollywood.

Apparently while in Los Angeles, Anil Kapoor(Sonam’s father) made connections including striking up a business deal with Hollywood funny-man Ben Stiller. The two will be working on launching a production company together, but Ben’s current company is casting for a new film.

After seeing some of Sonam’s work, Ben had expressed interest in getting the actress for a role in ’30 Minutes Or Less’. The movie is said to have a $30 million budget, and is to be directed by Reuben Fleischer.

The film will star  Jesse Eisenberg, who is most known for his role in the hit movie of last summer, ‘Adventureland’,  and even though the actress has a busy schedule sources say she will do her best to find time for this opportunity.

Hollywood television star Kunal Nayyar, has been visiting family in New Delhi over the past week or so, and has finally decided it was time to head back to the states.

“Heading back to la la land after a wonderful trip home in New Delhi. I’m gonna miss the family and doggies. I will holla back from hwood,” tweeted Kunal.

The actor is most popular for his role in the hit television series ‘The Big Bang Theory’, as the loveable Indian character Raj.

Hopefully we will start seeing Kunal more and more on other shows, and possible in some major films, because his talent absolutely deserves it.

As the seduction of soccer (football) still grips the world, many of Bollywood’s biggest stars have made plans to migrate towards South Africa to catch a game or two of the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

Joining the King of Bollywood, will be the relatively young starImran Khan, who has also shared his plans to make it to the final match of the World Cup!

“I’m flying for the finals with friends on Friday. I’m supporting Germany,” tweeted Imran.

Huge Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise recently turned 48, and as a result received a large amount of fan mail and tweets.

Apparently Tom has become the most popular Hollywood actor to residence of India, and their love and support did not go unnoticed!

“A huge THANK YOU to the wonderful people of India for their birthday wishes and kindness,” tweeted Cruise.

He also added that he would be seeing them for his most recent release, ‘Day and Knight,’ co-starring Cameron Diaz; maybe Tom will be stopping by India in the near future!
