Reports claim that one of the most well known British authors, Salman Rushdie, has made his way down to Mumbai in order to meet with Bollywood beauty Soha Ali Khan.

Soha can hardly be seen as a new actress in the Bollywood scene, but instead she is often overshadowed by the stardom of her brother Saif Ali Khan. Fortunately, that has not stopped Soha from taking her career to the next level, and the actresses newest project will be making a cinema version of the masterful novel by Salman ‘Midnight’s Children’.

Filmmaker Deepa Mehta will be the mastermind behind the film and Soha is said to be the leading actress in the movie. Sources claim that meeting between the actress and the author were extremely successful and positive, and Salman will have much to do with the film based on his book.

“It is a pleasure to discuss things with [Salman] and know his perspectives. I have been a huge Rushdie fan and ‘Midnight`s Children’ is one of my favourite books,” explained Soha. The actress goes on to express her excitement to make the film possible, and claims to enjoy the unconventional style of Salman.  ”I love that he is sometimes so irreverent about things,” she concluded.

Upon first look at Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor, men all over the world would consider any person lucky to be able to share a connection with her as actor Saif Ali Khan does. The two are not only romantically involved, but also work together on a constant basis and as recently learned; they also enjoy doing yoga together as partners!

However Kareena does not see things the same way most men would, instead the actress claims that she is lucky one to have the likes of Saif in her life. “Very few people get love in life and such a supportive partner. Of course, I am very lucky that I have got a partner like Saif. He is a very unique man. His thoughts are much different from others and he always encourages me to work,” explained Kareena.

The two are currently working on ‘Agent Vinod’ together, a movie directed by Sriram Raghavan, which is not the first movie they have done together. Kareena also loves the oblivious nature of her lover, and how he likes to live in his own world.

“[Saif] is like a Hollywood actor who stays mostly in his own world. He wants to do certain films and produce movies like Hollywood star,” Kareena said. Not sure being completely ignorant to everything around you is an extremely great quality, but if it lands you a beauty like Kareena maybe all guys should try it!

After the news had broke about Katrina Kaif being reduced to tears over questions of her and ex-boyfriend Salman Khan. It was only a matter of time before eyes and reports began to turn towards Salman to see how he was handling the situation.

The two had always been very hush-hush about their relationship, but Salman broke that silence first by announcing that his and Katrina’s relationship has ended. Although the relationship seemed to be very important to Salman before, reports now suggest that he is moving on with his life quite nicely and without skipping a beat.

“I am very settled and happy in life. As far as my professional life is concerned, I have reached a phase where I don’t need to worry about my career. I have been around for 20 years now.” explained Salman. Although the statement seems to be a bit cocky, people have to love and admire his ability to keep his head up and confidence high.

Salman has definetly proven himself as an elite actor in Bollywood, and it’s hard to argue with the idea that he really does not need to worry about his career.

Salman does add that the idea of losing his loved ones is always a horrible thought in the back of his mind, but does not mention Katrina when making that statement. Seems like the actor has already moved on!

Shahrukh Khan has always been the most sought after actor during his time in the Bollywood spotlight, and backing him up in most of his films was a close friend of his Farah Khan.

Farah is a renown choreographer and director in Bollywood and has put out many hit films starring her good friend and King of Bollywood, SRK. However, reports have suggested that the two have come to a breaking point due to the fact that Farah has not been casting SRK in her latest films.

For example in her newest project, Farah opted to go with Akshay Kumar over the available Shahrukh, which immediately had media in an uproar as to why she would not want her friend and one of Bollywood’s greatest stars in her film. However recently SRK had put the rumors to rest about any kind of falling-out between the two as he wished her and Akshay luck in, ‘Tees Maar Khan’.

“My friendship with all is as it was before, love them the same way. Many times if we are not working with each other doesn`t mean that I hate her or end of friendship.” explained SRK.

Shahrukh even expressed his hope for Farah’s success in all of her business ventures, “ I just hope she become even a bigger producer. Yes, she is a friend of mine. I am not doing a film with her, which doesn`t mean I don`t love her,” concluded the superstar. What a stand-up guy!

Anushka Sharma used to be a model in India, but has recently made the successful leap to the film industry in Bollywood. Anushka has been quite the breakthrough actress in Bollywood and claims that she owes most of her success to her colleagues on the films.

Anushka, whose first film was alongside Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan, is ow awaiting the release of her latest film, ‘Patiala House’. Akshay Kumar is the star of the movie, and Anushka had nothing but praises for her co-stars (past and present).

“I`m fortunate and lucky to have worked with all top actors of Bollywood. Despite being such a big actor, Akshay made me feel very comfortable throughout the shoot. We would have loads of fun during the shoot,” explained the actress.

She also was delighted to work with some professional cricketeers in the movie. “It was a different experience altogether to act along with international cricketers and commentators. We were shooting at Oval stadium in London, and I enjoyed standing along with the cricketers in the open stadium,” Anushka said.

Well I guess it’s better to be fortunate than good! Just ask some of those actors that haven’t had the privilege of making a successful film!

Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapoor have been the center of attention when it has come to relationship rumors in Bollywood. The two were a hot item not too long ago and many reports are suggesting that the two have rekindled their love.

Currently Shahid is working on a commercial shoot with the gorgeous actress Asin. The commercial calls for the two to not only speak Hindi, but also use the language of Tamil. This was not much of a problem for Asin, who speaks multiple different languages; but Shahid, on the other hand, did not know any Tamil.

Asin began to teach Shahid some lines for the shoot, as crew members commented on how good the pair looked together. The problem was that when Priyanka showed up on the set of the commercial those comments did not stop and Priyanka became obviously upset with the idea of another women and her man!

Seems like Priyanka may have some competition, being that Shahid is often rumored to create romantic relations with his co-stars!

Recently one of Bollywood’s most stunning actresses, Katrina Kaif, had appeared at a promotional event for a new brand that she will be endorsing. Unfortunately for Katrina, the media were more interested in the details of the apparent break-up between her and super-hunk Salman Khan.

Sources says that the actress was extremely poised at first answering questions, and keeping her smile big and bright. However, the media refused to let the issue go and continued to probe the actress to the point that she ended up a little teary eyed.

The actress ended up storming out of the conference, and in disgust said, “If Salman says we’ve split, it must be true.” Those close to the actress explain that the two had agreed to never speak about the personal details of their relationship with the media, but apparently Salman broke that promise. No wonder the actress was emotional!

Katrina was absolutely appauled by the entire situation, and has now added clauses to her contract that only questions about her endorsed products or films are to be talked about at press conferences.

Apparently finding work for Bollywood actress, Mallika Sherawat, is much harder than any had expected. Mallika has had many ups and downs in her career, and has recently fallen out of favor with Bollywood filmmakers. Her latest project ‘Hiss’ seems like it will never been seen by the public as the date has been pushed back yet again, from August to November.

Now reports are suggesting that the actress is becoming desperate to be back in a Hindi film, as she has signed on to do ‘Double Dhamaal’, a sequel to the highly popular ‘Dhamaal’, without even confirming any kind of pay rate.

The film’s producer Ashok Thakeria confirms the news and explained that the actress just wants to work. “Mallika said she will take anything we give her. She`s just happy to be part of a brand like `Dhamaal`,” the producer explained making the move seem a little less desperate.

Mallika is still a very beautiful woman, but it seems like she is well past her prime and desperation seems to be her last resort. At least she is still trying!

Recently Akshay Kumar was on the set for his latest film, ‘Thank You’, directed by Aneez Bazmee. At one point during the shoot a fan had made her way on to the set and was asking to get pictures taken with the film’s stars. Akshay being as kind as he is was eager to grant the fan’s wish, but to his dismay the fan was not interested in him.

According to sources on the set, when the woman asked to get pictures a crew member told her that Akshay would be willing, but she abruptly denied the opportunity and explained that it was actually Akshay’s co-star Irrfan Khan that she was hoping to be photographed with.

The fan was described as a foreigner thus showing the limits of Akshay’s popularity, but the actor did not take the snub too badly and even laughed it off with crew members later. Looks like Akshay may need to do some more foreign films in the upcoming years.

Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan are becoming a very hot and much talked about couple in the world of Bollywood. The two often work together in their movies, and show great chemistry on screen, but seemed to have slightly different ways of life off screen.

As the two become more involved with one another, it seems that the two are getting to be completely inseparable. In fact, they are now even starting to stay in shape together! Previously, Saif has been known to be quite the gym rat and Kareena had always been into the ways of yoga.

However, recently Saif has been trying to learn how to do the yoga moves in an attempt to spend more time with his lover. Unfortunately since Kareena was more advanced than Saif the two were practicing yoga separately; but now that Saif has started to become better and more into the benefits of yoga the two are going to practice “partner yoga” or “yin-yang yoga” together.

It seems like the two will be spending much more time together now, and who could blame Saif? I think any man in his right mind would want to practice bending his body in all sorts of ways if their partner was Kareena!

Salman Khan is known around Bollywood for his bad boy attitude and doing things his own way. Salman likes to make sure people know that he is the star, and often snubs chances for rehearsing his parts. However, there is one person in Bollywood that can force Salman to rehearse!

According to sources, Salman does not pull his attitude with brother and director of ‘Dabangg’ Arbaaz Khan. Those on the set of the movie claim that Salman, who doesn’t usually spend much time practicing for scenes, was constantly rehearsing his parts due to instructions from Arbaaz.

Even Salman himself admits that his brother is very strict, tough, and intimidating on the sets of his movies. Maybe the extra work that Salman has put into rehearsing is the reason that the movie has so much hype. Good work Arbaaz!

Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif was forced to take on a new look for her upcoming film ‘Tees Maar Khan’, and it seems that the actress and the movie’s director Farah Khan are trying to ensure that it is a surprise when the movie is released.

The new look is specifically for a song in the film, ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’, and Farah has now banned camera phones from the sets in order to make sure that no one is able to leak any shots or parts of the song or look out to the public.

Farah has demanded that everyone on the set leave their phones at the studio gates before entering. However Farah admits that she is the only one allowed to carry her phone with her; she better hope no emergencies happen with the crew’s families because that ban could back fire.

Farah explains that she is just looking out for the interest of the film and her leading actress. “Katrina has worked really hard for the ‘Sheil’ song. Poor thing has stopped gorging on food just to get into a hot outfit. I don`t want anyone to spoil the fun for my audience by leaking her look,” explained the director.

I’m not sure how much better Katrina could possibly look, but if she was working hard to get into a “hot” outfit then I’m sure the song will make the movie well worth watching.
