Today on Twitter Karan Johar posted this photo of Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan with the caption of ‘The Glamorous Couple’. No doubt that the Bollywood filmmaker was just being descriptive of a nice snap shot, but the post made me think of who would be Bollywood’s most “Glamorous Couple”.

It would have to involve a duo who are both involved in the industry, are successful at their craft, and popularity is always a plus; marriage is another point-getter, but not necessary. So what couple would I choose?

One obvious couple would be Shahrukh Khan and wife Gauri! Shahrukh is arguably the biggest name in Bollywood and though his wife is not as well known, Gauri does do a significant amount of work behind the scenes of films.

Then there are the sexy couples like Bipasha Basu and John Abraham, however, John is not match for the likes of SRK, and although Bipasha is amazing in so many ways it is not enough for me to name them most glamorous. One could also argue Katrina Kaif and whoever she is with at the moment, but I think the glamorous couple should be a little more sturdy.

Finally as most might have already guessed, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan would most definitely be my choice. No offense to any of the previously mentioned couples, but these two are not only successful as a couple, but as seperate individuals as well!

John Abraham has had a series of fairly average to very poor films, and has had a very difficult time making his mark in the minds of Bollywood audiences. Unfortunately for John he is in constant competition with some of the most iconic actor’s in Bollywood history, so those kinds of films just wont do.

John’s newest project is the film ‘Aashayein‘, and the actor is confident that this film will be very successful despite a small budget. “Commercially it is a small film, but it will create big impact on minds. So, I think that commercially it should be a plus film,” claimed John.

John better hope that this film does leave a positive impact on the minds of his audiences, because at the age of 37 the actor seems to be fading out of the Bollywood spotlight fast!

Ranbir Kapoor has been around the Bollywood scene long enough to know that staying relevant in the industry takes extra work and making people believe the characters being portrayed.

Maybe that is why Ranbir is going above and beyond as he prepares for his next film, ‘Rockstar’. His character is a mega-fan of a huge rock-n-roll legend, so Ranbir has been studying the music for the film in AR Rahman’s studio in order to be more in touch with his character.

Rahman is the music composer for the film, so it became an obvious fit for Ranbir to go to him for assistance. Imtiaz Ali will be directing the film and helped link the two together so that Ranbir could go that extra step in becoming perfect.  It will be exciting to see how rock-n-roll Ranbir can get!

If recent reports of Aamir Khan and Shahrukh Khan moving past their old rival ways were ever in doubt; sources now suggest that the two will team up and act alongside one another in Karan Johar’s next film.

The trio have been spotted having dinner and drinks in London over the past few days, and Karan enjoyed a private screening of Aamir’s latest film, ‘Peepli Live’, courtesy of Aamir himself. So it seems that the eventual teaming of the three was inevitable.

It wasn’t too long ago that fans would have never dreamed of seeing SRK and Aamir in the same movie together. The two star actors have always been each other’s biggest competition, but leave it to the abstract mind of Karan to find a way to make the tandem work.

Karan is the mastermind behind the pairing of the two on screen and with his edgy and original films; the idea of the pair working well together seems completely possible.

It seems that many of Bollywood’s biggest rivalries have been recently coming to an end. The latest being two of the most stunning beauties that Bollywood has to offer. Kareena Kapoor and Deepika Padukone have been opposition to one another since day one, but that may all change soon!

The duo is said to be teaming up and sharing the spotlight with Saif Ali Khan in his latest action film, ‘Agent Vinod’. The trio would make a very incredible cast, but it’s hard to ignore how much the two females dislike each other. Is it really possible for them to put the past behind them?

Neither of the actresses have denied being approached or even interested in the movie, but with many stages of casting still to go the idea of this trio still seems a little far fetched. But we can still hope right?

It was a long time ago, but Salman Khan and Sangeeta Bijlani were once in a close relationship. However, since then Sangeeta has been in and out of a long-term relationship with hubby and Indian cricket captain, Azharuddin.

Since then reports are suggesting that Sangeeta is turning to her ex-flame Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan.

Due to their prior relationship Sangeeta is very close with Salman’s family; his parents and sisters all seem to adore Sangeeta.

Now that Azharuddin seems to have moved on the time seems perfect for both Sangeeta and Salman to re-ignite their romance. Despite some of the mean things that were said by Sangeeta in the media following their break-up.

Some of the latest Bollywood gossip has included a story about the husband-wife duo Shahrukh and Gauri Khan shooting a commercial together.

The couple will be shooting the commercial for a furniture company and the shooting will be taking place in Mumbai.

It seems as though the two decided to keep a very busy summer. Especially if u include SRK’s trips to South Africa for the World Cup! While lately the two have been lounging around London while Shahrukh shoots his film, and dines with other Bollywood bigwigs.

In all aspects of entertainment, whether it is sports or acting, there are always going to be intense rivalries. One of Bollywood’s most famous set of rivals has to be Shahrukh Khan and Aamir Khan.

From the beginning of their careers to the present the two actors have been in competition with each other usually over the same roles. SRK has become the bigger name when it came to leading actors, but Aamir has established a bit of a name for himself as a director/producer as well.

Reports are now suggesting that the duo met up in London recently and ejoyed eachother’s company over dinner and drinks. They were joined by Karan Johar and Gauri Khan, and it seemed like all four were getting along very well.

Karan, Gauri, and SRK were also invited to a private showing of Aamir’s latest success ‘Peepli Live’, so it seems that all hard feelings are forgiven.

When people think of Bollywood actor Salman Khan, some of the first things mentioned are hunk, fitness and muscles. However, acting now-a-days calls for a certain amount of commitment for making characters believable.

It seems that Salman is no exception to this level of commitment for he will be doing just that to get the right look for a average police officer in his newest film, ‘Dabangg’.  The roll calls for an officer who is a little less athletic looking, so Salman has to let his famous six-pack look more like a keg.

In order to make this happen Salman will be taking on a special diet, and is staying away from exercise (poor guy).

There really is not much for Salman’s female fans to be worried about, because this is all part of the job. I’m sure once the movie is done being shot Salman will hit the gym, change his diet, and bring those abs back before we know it.

Sources say that Bollywood director Siddharth Malhotra is not a man of religion, but even he prayed to higher powers in hopes to land the signing of the beautiful Bollywood actress, Kajol!

“That’s how much I needed Kajol to do Susan Sarandon’s role from ‘Stepmom,’” claims Malhotra. However, who wouldn’t want the stunning actress to star in their film? She has been in so many great films, and has acted alongside many of the best actors in the industry!

Siddharth is extremely excited to know that the actress has finally agreed to star in his latest film, ‘We Are Family’. “Only Kajol fitted the role. If she had said no I wouldn’t have made the film,” explained the joyful director.

The rumor for the last few months have been that Shahrukh Khan, will be the next film-star to host the television show ‘Bigg Boss 4′.

However, those rumors were smashed today as SRK made it known that he will not be doing the show due to time constraints and conflicts in scheduling. The show happens to take place while King Khan is shooting for ‘Don 2′.

Amitabh Bachchan is available for the spot, however, he was the host of ‘Bigg Boss 3,’ and the channel has a strict policy forbidding repeat hosts. Apparently those involved with ‘Bigg Boss’, because they have no solid back-up in case things with SRK fell through.

It is being rumored that Akshay Kumar could step in and host the season, but the channel is prepared to go without a film-star if Akshay doesn’t work out.

So it has been almost a year since we’ve seen any movies from Bollywood actress Sherlyn Chopra, and before that the actress took off all of 2008. However, none of that stops Sherlyn from wanting to play iconic roles.

“Wish I could plant a seed/idea in Madhur’s head that I was born to portray Marilyn,” was the hint dropped by Sherlyn on Twitter today accompanied with the etremely sexy photo shown here. Who could argue with a body like that???

Sherlyn may even look too good to play Marilyn, but the actress seems to be fixated on landing the part. Some fans expressed displeasure with the idea of the actress possibly having to dye her hair blonde, but as the old saying goes, “blondes have more fun!”

I guess we’ll all just have to wait and see if Madhur gets the message!
