Most people would think that getting two stars that have as much chemistry as husband and wife tandem Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan that the ratings would sky-rocket. However, just the opposite effect seemed to have taken place when the duo starred in their latest film ‘Raavan’ together.

‘Raavan’ showed a lot of promise considering the cast and the out of the ordinary story line, but the movie never really met expectations and seemed to fold under all the hype. Nevertheless, the husband and wife combination of Abhishek and Aishwarya don’t seem like they took notice.

The couple has already signed a deal to work on another highly anticipated film. Apparently filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor has approached the couple, and hopes that they would do the honor of starring in his film based on the Chetan Bhagat novel, ‘The 3 Mistakes of My Life’.

Hopefully the film wont be marked down as a ”mistake” for the Bachchan couple, and they can redeem themselves from all the negative reviews of ‘Raavan’!

It seems that every now and then people can get caught up in the rumored and premature relationships that develop between the stars of Bollywood. However, one couple has taken the success that they have achieved separately, and were able to maintain not only a healthy love life but a healthy professional relationship as well.

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan have defied the curses of celebrity relationships, and have made their love work on and off screen. ‘Ravaan’, which stars both Abhishek and Aishwarya, will be released on June 18 and showcases the chemistry that the couple can produce on film.

It seems that the two have fallen into a comfortable pattern with one another, and the two will be hoping that their success continues. Though the movie’s description does not mention a love between the couple’s characters, there is always the unforeseen twists and turns that may shift the story line of a movie in that direction. Guess we’ll just have to see in a couple of short weeks.

Reports say that Bollywood’s IT couple, of actor Salman Khan and actress Katrina Kaif, has come to an end. It seems that the two are no longer the love-bound duo that they once were a month ago.

Katrina and Salman have had very busy schedules as of late, but at one point their paths had come extremely close; and the two refused to visit each other.

It seems as though the couple is no longer on speaking terms, and Salman is also avoiding friend and fellow actor Hrithik Roshan. Could this all have something to do with the recent pairing of Hrithik and Katrina in an upcoming film? Whatever it is… something isn’t right.

Katrina has been the subject of many romantic rumors involving other co-stars, including Ranbir Kapoor, so the reports could be evidence of a series of events. Salman has been become on of the leading men in all of Bollywood, almost directly behind his biggest rival Shahrukh Khan, but dispite his new ‘good guy’ persona, the actor still seems to lose in love.

Could it be true? The Bollywood sweethearts, Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor, might not be completely over as once thought. The two were the couple to envy not too long ago, and the gorgeous duo was thought to be perfect. Unfortunately, their relationship ended in discrete fashion, and until recently that, the two were hardly seen near each other.

It seems that Ranbir was the sexy actress’ date to a screening of Deepika’s new film, ‘Housefull’. The couple were spotted at a Juhu theater, catching a late (10:45 pm) showing of the movie. Ranbir hasn’t kept his name out of the market, showing interest in the Bollywood usual suspects, Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif, but it seems that his heart may still belong to Deepika.

Being that this is the first public appearance for the two since their break up; people were shocked to see that they were happy and enjoying each other’s company according to some reports. Ranbir had expressed that he would like to reconcile things with Deepika shortly after the two had parted ways, but it’s hard to say if those feelings still exist. Maybe this special appearance with each other is a sign of things to come!

The romance and courtship between the adorable Bollywood couple continues to flood in after Abhishek Bachchan let his followers on twitter know about his trip to Greece, and the love of his life Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan will be joining him!

It has already been reported that the two constantly send updates to each other when they are apart; apparently at every break Abhishek calls his wife to give her a play-by-play on how his day and shoot is going. However, this time the couple will be able to cut out the middle man as Aishwarya makes her husband extremely happy by tagging along.

“Going to greece for shooting. My new movie GAME! Great co-stars. Looking forward to it. Thankfully the mrs. Has agreed to come along,” said one of the actor’s latest tweets. The actor has had an extremely busy schedule, but is set to release about three different movies in 2010. The most promising of those movies being ‘Raavan‘, a movie that also co-stars his adoring wife.

“Back to insomniac mode. Wonder where the holiday went?!? Sitting in the airport lounge in dubai airport enroute to greece pleading with the sleep gods!!” Complained the actor, which is understandable but honestly how bad could a trip to Greece with the one you love really be? Tough it out Abhishek… I’m sure the revenue of the movies will be worth the lack of sleep in the end!

Sources have confirmed that Hrithik Roshan has agreed to do another movie, and his leading lady will be a relatively low-profile Mallika Sherwat. Mallika is a model/actress and definitely puts the SEX in sex-appeal.

Now that the gorgeous bollywood actress will be teamed up with one of the hottest male leads in India right now we can expect her stock to skyrocket. Details of the movie are still unknown, but with a the combination of these two will obviously make for a pretty steamy movie.

Mallika has been making appearances in movies since 2002, but this film may be the biggest of her career up to this point. As always DesiSleaze will keep you posted on the details as they come in because this will be one to get excited for!

Australian Cricket star Brett Lee claims that the relationship between himself and Preity Zinta is ‘strictly professional’. This seems like some unfortunate news for the 35-year-old actress, since she is still single and not getting much younger.

Brett’s manager has been infuriated by reports of an alleged relationship between his client and Preity, and claims that the pair has been close friends for many years.  The claims followed a Indian Premier League party, where the two had been seen lounging together and getting cozy with one another.

The fact that Brett’s people described the relationship as ‘professional’ raises a few questions. Just how does a Bollywood actress and an Australian Cricket player cross paths on a professional level?

I mean if the two only party together, that describes a relationship that is far more than just ‘professional’. Maybe Brett has a lady down-under that his manager feels the need to cover up his fling with Preity. Who knows?

If things don’t work out with Brett though, I’ll be happy to add Preity to my cougar “watch list”!

Salman Khan has been at the center of some of Bollywood’s biggest relationships, and unfortunately for him it has been for all of the wrong reasons.

Aside from being one of Bollywood’s best actors; Salman Khan is pretty well known for his numerous relationships with actresses. And although Salman has always given his whole heart to his lady friends they always seemed to end pretty abruptly.

Recently, Salman has been the lucky man closest to actress Katrina Kaif, and revent reports show that the actor has gone above and beyond expectations to make sure that his beautiful girlfriend is successful.

Salman has kept his dubbing studio constantly open, so that it will be available for his gorgeous lady as she prepared for her upcoming film, ‘Raajneeti’. On top of that, Salman didn’t charge a single cent to the filmmaker for the use of his studio.

Just when the would thought chivalry is dead; Salman came along and saved mankind! I guess nothing is too good for his lover!

Wedding Bells for Saif & Kareena?

Oops! Looks like Sharmila Tagore, Saif Ali Khan‘s mommy may have slipped and raised the veil on the ever burning issue of Saif Ali Khan‘s & Kareena Kapoor’s relationship. Sources state that at a recent event in Jaipiur, Mrs. Tagore accidentally whispered that Saif & Kareena will soon be tying the knot!! And of course, this news spread like wildfire….all the way to Saif’s doorstep. But darling Saif gave the ever so familiar Bollywood answer stating that he does feel that Kareena is the one, but they will only walk down the aisle once they’ve made time from their busy careers. Well looks like another Big Bollywood Wedding is in the near future…great news for Saif, considering Kareena’s name is tattooed across his arm (and I’m sure it won’t be so easy to hide in case this leads to yet another Bollywood breakup, oh poor Deepika!) Not so much for the Kapoor khandan however, whom must be trying to coax away their little Bebo from the ever so charming Khan.
