As always, any chance to rant about soccer will be fully taken advantage of here, and it seems that perhaps the absolute biggest name in Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan, will also be attending the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

The actor plans go enjoy the games with his children as he tweets, “taking kids for the matches in S. Africa. I also have an all girls team, which i coach ha ha.” It seems as though SRK may be an even bigger soccer enthusiast than Abhishek Bachchan, whom Big B (Amitabh Bachchan) revealed will also be attending some matches in South Africa.

The actor goes on to explain his love for the beauty of the sport and how he used to adore watching it with his mother. He also admits that he hopes India will one day become more involved in the soccer nation. “I am surprised that we were the only developing nation which did not take to football. [I] hope new generation takes it up now that we are leaders,” explained SRK.

King Khan also makes it clear who some of his favorite players are and why in this World Cup edition, “[Lionel] Messi unbelieveable. Kaka unstoppable. [Cristiano] Ronaldo speed & grace. [Fernando] Torres unpredictably cool. [Wayne] Rooney is a bull. will miss [Michael] Ballack. Xavi [Hernandez] surprise,” he describes. It appears that the superstar has done his homework, and like everyone else Shahrukh will be looking forward to the magic that is the FIFA World Cup!!!

Abhishek Bachchan has just recently finished shooting his newest film ‘The Game’, and is awaiting the release ‘Raavan’. Abhishek has also been extremely busy with his recent schedule, however, sources have revealed that the actor is planning a leisure trip to Africa.

One of the best things about Abhishek is not his fame, success, or high-profile love life, but instead it is his love for “the beautiful game”, soccer. And with the 2010 Fifa world cup taking place in South Africa, it’s obvious why Abhishek has decided to make this trip.

Amitabh Bachchan (Abhishek’s father) is the one who first admitted his son’s intentions of going to see some of the world class action taking place on the fields in South Africa. Big B claims that he himself attended the final game in the 1994 World Cup between Brazil and Italy, and understands his son’s desire to go. “I know where this is coming from. A World Cup final in Los Angeles many years ago between Italy and Brazil – what a dream match!’ explained Amitabh.

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan seems to have a lot of ups and downs with the media, law, and even his fans. Recently at a fashion show, the actor was modeling and was asked to autograph the cleavage of one of his admiring fans.

Salman usually is very unpredictable when it comes to social interactions. Sometimes the actor does anything he can to make his fans and the public happy and admire him, however, other instances show a more stubborn side of the actor.

Most men strive for super-stardom for the extra attention that is awarded to such professionals from the opposite sex. Yet, the extra attention given to Salman from female fans seems to make him a little uncomfortable.

Apparently the actor is not so smooth and romantic without a script telling him what to do or say, or maybe he is still embarrassed by the anatomy of the human body. Either way, Salman needs to loosen up a little. He’s easy to love, and even easier to hate because of his mood swings and seemingly split personalities.

Bollywood superstar and legend, Amitabh Bachchan, has found time to extend a congratulations to fellow actor Shahrukh Khan for reaching 400,000 followers on Twitter.

Big B is a recent member of the Twitter community, and realizes that he may never reach the mark that SRK just passed.  SRK is the most followed Bollywood star on the networking site, yet he still has a long way to go before reaching the likes of Ashton Kutcher.

Priyanka Choprais one of the closest to SRK, but the actress still has yet to hit the 400,000 mark. And Amitabh isn’t too far behind SRK either; the 67-year-old has just under 100,000 followers himself. However, it seems as though Shahrukh proves again why he gets the title ‘King of Bollywood’.

On September 8, 2002, Salman Khan had accidentally ran his SUV off the road and into a bakery. The incident involved six total victims who were injured by the vehicle, one of which was killed. Salman (who has been in the news for all the right reasons lately) waited until eight hours after the accident to turn himself into the authorities.

Eight hours??? After hitting six people with a large SUV early in the morning; why would any decent human being wait eight hours before admitting to their mistake? The answer is simple, Salman was drunk, and the eight hours was sufficient enough time to bring down the alcohol level in this blood.

Unfortunately, the five people who didn’t die from Salman’s actions identified the actor and claimed that he was clearly intoxicated. Salman’s own bodyguard also admitted that the actor was behind the wheel and drunk. Even the chemical analyst who took a blood sample of Salman claimed that the actor was definitely drunk during the incident.

So my question is… Why is he still a free man??? I understand that Salman has a large amount of fans, is a big Bollywood star, and has recently been a stand-up gentleman, but he killed someone due to ignorance and stupidity! It should be embarrassing for any prosecution that this man only received a small slap on the wrist and still has not paid for what he has done.

It is now eight years after the incident, and they are just coming to the conclusion that the actor was indeed drunk? He drove off a road, through six people making his own drive-thru at a bakery… really Salman? Or should I say really justice?

Ranbir Kapoor has been at the center of Bollywood gossip after his sudden and low-profile break-up with the gorgeous Deepika Padukone. The young actor has been linked to other Bollywood ladies in past months including Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif. However, recently the actor was seen catching a movie with his old flame Deepika, which sent rumors flying through the media.

Unfortunately Ranbir has put his foot down, and put an end to any connections or relationships with any actresses. “To be frank, I am not dating anyone,” declared the actor when asked about his relationship with Deepika. It seems that Ranbir has grown into a very wise and mature man, and has stated that he is not affected by the gossip. “ Rather than making noise and trying to justify myself, I try to be keep quiet. That’s the best way to answer these rumours,” explained Ranbir.

Ranbir himself admits that he is growing up and becoming more savvy towards the industry than ever before, and hopes that his hard work and devotion to his work will keep him in the spotlight much longer. He is focused on doing his job, and not messing around with relationships and gossip. “I am here to work. What keeps me moving is good roles,” Ranbir said. Well at least someone is doing what they should be!

Katrina Kaif has seen a lot of success along side her Bollywood colleague, Akshay Kumar, but she does not want to shove the pair of them down the throats of audiences. Katrina is already in place to co-star with Akshay in the upcoming, ‘Tees Maar Khan’, and it is because of that Katrina turned down a role in the film, ’Thank You’, by Anees Bazmee.

Despite the numerous efforts from Anees to convince Katrina to take a part in the film, it seems as though Akshay will have to get a new leading lady. Katrina has done the general public a huge favor by not wearing out the image of the two together on screen. With repetition like that characters start to become predictable and boring, and I think Katrina knows that.

Plus, every guy should get a chance to star next to the Bollywood knock-out. Whether her movies have been good or bad, one thing that doesn’t change is Katrina’s gorgeous features. Akshay also can benefit from the change in female counter-parts. There are plenty of beautiful leading ladies in Bollywood, so there is no need to confine anyone to a set partnership.

‘Top Chef’ is an American-TV cooking show, where a number a chefs compete for a cash prize and the prestigious title of ’Top Chef’. No Akshay Kumar will not be traveling across seas to shoot the show. Instead, the Bollywood actor will be hosting India’s version of ‘Top Chef’, similarly to how he hosted an Indian version of ’Fear Factor’.

‘Top Chef’ has encountered a lot of success and has been able to air six different seasons in various cities of the United States (Las Vegas, Chicago, New York, etc.). The interesting thing will be seeing the diversity the Indian version will have. In the states, the show celebrates the various backgrounds of each chef as well as the large variation of cooking styles, so will the desi version of the show do the same? Or will it be more focused on Indian chefs and cuisine?

Either way Akshay is a very talented actor, and a veteran of hosting television reality shows. Although the actor was replaced by the beautiful Priyanka Chopra on his last show  ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’, he will hope that this show’s original concept, outside the realm of dance and music, will lead to great success. Akshay better start practicing the sign-off line, “Please pack your knives and go!”

With the 2010 Fifa World Cup around the corner the entire world is in a soccer frenzy. It is around this time where those old fans are brought back to the game and new fans are made due to the high level of competition and talent. However, India’s usual sport of choice is cricket, and actor Saif Ali Khan’s father and grandfather have captained India’s team.

Due to this the game of cricket runs through the blood of Saif, but the actor has proclaimed differently.

 ”Cricket is happening 365 days. I am more interested in soccer now. The football world cup is just a month away and I am looking forward to it,” Saif said. And who could blame him? The World Cup is only the biggest sporting event in the entire world, and is more watched than any event period.

When not watching soccer the actor will be working on his third film with girlfriend Kareena Kapoor, so there is just simply no time for the game of cricket in his life. I’m sure after all the hoopla of the World Cup the actor will go back to his original passion, but for now everyone should join him in preparing for the historic event!

Reports say that Bollywood’s IT couple, of actor Salman Khan and actress Katrina Kaif, has come to an end. It seems that the two are no longer the love-bound duo that they once were a month ago.

Katrina and Salman have had very busy schedules as of late, but at one point their paths had come extremely close; and the two refused to visit each other.

It seems as though the couple is no longer on speaking terms, and Salman is also avoiding friend and fellow actor Hrithik Roshan. Could this all have something to do with the recent pairing of Hrithik and Katrina in an upcoming film? Whatever it is… something isn’t right.

Katrina has been the subject of many romantic rumors involving other co-stars, including Ranbir Kapoor, so the reports could be evidence of a series of events. Salman has been become on of the leading men in all of Bollywood, almost directly behind his biggest rival Shahrukh Khan, but dispite his new ‘good guy’ persona, the actor still seems to lose in love.

Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan has been a huge figure in film, but with his success always came competition and conflicts. SRK has had a few disagreements with various actors that led to a certain amount of tension, but with time most of those have faded…Except one!

Salman Khan, despite his recent run of charitable acts, has always been seen as the main rival to King Khan, and can be known to have a bit of a temper; however, it seems that Shahrukh Khan is not willing to make the first step towards reconciliation either. “Salman and I are settled ‘in’ our differences; we have not yet settled our differences,” explains SRK.

They might have been two different people at one time, but lately the two have been becoming more and more alike. They both promote helping others in needs, and have fantastic onscreen reputations. Plus if they are opposites… don’t opposites attract???

Although SRK admits to having a good relationship with Salman’s family, he insists that the two just aren’t interested in being buddies.  “We’re two different people, very happy in our spaces, and very good in our spaces. And I think it should remain like that,” SRK said. Maybe the two just need to channel their tensions towards another movie! I’d buy a ticket to that!

Bollywood’s best jodi Turned Into Ash Last Year… I am not talking about Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan but actually the dynamic duo Farah Khan and Shah Rukh Khan who as everyone knows parted ways due to creative differences. A nice way to say, yeah not interested in working with you because I am better than you.

The belief that nothing remains the same should make sense to Bollywood. One of the thickest bonds in Bollywood with blockbuster films like Main Hoon Na and Om Shanti Om, Shahrukh Khan and Farah Khan have recently gone down the drain. What was the reason behind this infamous Khan split?

Our sources found the reason behind the split of this extraordinary duo. It was known that Farah was keen on casting Shah Rukh in Tees Maar Khan but because Shahrukh could not find time and Farah could not afford to wait forever and finally decided to cast Akshay in the film. It seems this did not go down too well with SRK and Farah had to bear the repercussions.

Farah went to SRK to make him aware of her interest in remaking the old blockbuster Satte Pe Satta which failed to interest SRK. After hearing Farah for a while, SRK finally said a firm ‘no’ and showcased his disinterest in the film. Farah had already approached Raj Sippy’s son Mintoo to buy the copyrights of the film and he willingly accepted the proposal. Shahrukh reasoned saying that he did not want to do a remake of Mr. Bachchan’s film to which Farah retaliated saying that he had done the remake of Don. Shahrukh did not really like this reaction and the conversation ended calmly with Farah leaving his company.

King Khan has also refused to do Shirish Kunder’s film and showed disinterest in ‘The Zoya Factor’ based on a novel by Anuj Chauhan which Shirish was suppose to direct for his production house. This news will definitely be disappointing for the audiences who loved watching the dynamic duo together!

Lets just say that Shah Rukh Khan may be have also got jealous that Farah Khan found a man with Shirish and SRK no longer had his bestie!
