Kareena Kapoor on Top!

Kareena Kapoor is making headlines once again and no not for her ongoing battles with Katrina Kaif nor another tattoo of her name, she has officially made it to the top as the highest paid Bollywood actress to date!

Bebo is charging a whopping 7 crores for the upcoming film Golmaal 3, and not only that, she has convinced producers that she will only agree to the project if she is the only heroine cast in the entire film. And of course when Kareena demands, you give in.

So we’ll soon see Kareena starring with 5 lead actors, Ajay Devgan, Sharman Joshi, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor & Shreyas Talpade.

Rumors state that the majority of A-list actors are not getting paid close to Kareena’s hefty amount because of the recession and lets not forget, Kareena’s only big blockbuster last year was 3 Idiots. What’s even more startling is that Ms. Kapoor went from a measly 2.5 crore all the way to 7, yup no steps in between.

Well whatever your doing Bebo, keep doing it, we’re not paying for it, we’ll just reap the benefits of seeing you on the silver screen!

Bollywood movies are always known to have some sort of scandalous scene in there. And if not a scene, there’s always a hot dance number. But 2010 marks the first and most crazy scene ever — thumb sucking!

Yes, you read it right…thumb sucking.

Get this, Vidya Balan was required in her forthcoming release, Ishqiya, to suck on Arshad Warsi’s thumb suggestively. Yes, suggestively…not sure how thumb sucking can be suggestive. Then again…hmm…Jager, I think you can think of something Haha!

Vidya said to the press, “Fortunately Arshad is a friend. We’ve gotten along well from the time we did Lage Raho Munnabhai together. I don’t know I’d have been able to do a scene like putting my co-star’s finger in the mouth with someone else. That gesture of sucking Arshad’s thumb was so raunchy and sexy, so not me, I couldn’t connect with it all.”

Talking about her character Vidya says, “I play this rustic voluptuous woman. All my weight-loss happened after I did this film. I had to looked filled up for this part. In Ishqiya everything from the way I wore my saree to the way I looked at men, was alien to me. The role exposed me to a new way of interpreting a liberated woman. My character in Ishqiya may not know about feminism. But she’s truly liberated.”
