The rumor for the last few months have been that Shahrukh Khan, will be the next film-star to host the television show ‘Bigg Boss 4′.

However, those rumors were smashed today as SRK made it known that he will not be doing the show due to time constraints and conflicts in scheduling. The show happens to take place while King Khan is shooting for ‘Don 2′.

Amitabh Bachchan is available for the spot, however, he was the host of ‘Bigg Boss 3,’ and the channel has a strict policy forbidding repeat hosts. Apparently those involved with ‘Bigg Boss’, because they have no solid back-up in case things with SRK fell through.

It is being rumored that Akshay Kumar could step in and host the season, but the channel is prepared to go without a film-star if Akshay doesn’t work out.

The world of entertainment is full of constant change, especially when dealing with personal relationships; for example, the ancient rivalry of Shahrukh Khan and Akshay Kumar seems to be no more. 

The two were said to have bonded over a shared flight. And not only are they able to act civilized around one another, but sources have revealed that Akshay and SRK are basically best-buds.

I doubt the relationship is actually that close between the two, but it is good to see mature adults able to put an old rivalry behind them.

SRK has even requested a private screening of Akshay’s newest film, ‘Khatta Meetha’. Although the Bollywood superstar is unsure when he will be back in town to watch the flick, a source insists that, “The day he returns [SRK] will definitely be booked for watching the film.”

Sonam Kapoor has enjoyed a pretty successful year so far, and happens to be keeping quite a busy schedule starring in films along side Shahid Kapoor and Akshay Kumar. However, the latest news surrounding the Bollywood actress is that she may be headed across the world to Hollywood.

Apparently while in Los Angeles, Anil Kapoor(Sonam’s father) made connections including striking up a business deal with Hollywood funny-man Ben Stiller. The two will be working on launching a production company together, but Ben’s current company is casting for a new film.

After seeing some of Sonam’s work, Ben had expressed interest in getting the actress for a role in ’30 Minutes Or Less’. The movie is said to have a $30 million budget, and is to be directed by Reuben Fleischer.

The film will star  Jesse Eisenberg, who is most known for his role in the hit movie of last summer, ‘Adventureland’,  and even though the actress has a busy schedule sources say she will do her best to find time for this opportunity.

What do my fellow fans think? Is Akshay going to deliver another hit or a flop. Lately hes either hit or miss on his movies.

As we mentioned, actor Akshay Kumar, has a movie release coming up in the near future for the film, ‘Khatta Meetha’, a satirical comedy. Akshay recently expressed his comfort and satisfaction with his success and career in Bollywood, and has reached out for some feedback from his fans.

“Here’s the first look poster of my next film,Khatta Meetha. [I] Would love to know what you guys think of it,” the actor tweeted. So in an attempt to not disappoint Akshay… here’s what I think.

The poster is pretty boring and a bit self-indulgent. It really does not spark interest, and shows not relation to satire or comedy in any sense of either word. It’s just an overall eye-sore, but on a positive note at least it will lower the expectations for the movie!

Akshay Kumar is a huge name in the Bollywood film industry. He is amongst the most popular male actors, and also is one of the most expensive actors in India. And it now seems that the superstar is content with his current success and fame in his home country and doesn’t wish to travel west to America at all.

Akshay tells sources that he has been offered a few different roles in Hollywood films, some large parts and others are smaller ones, however his answer to those offers is always ‘no’. Akshay says that he is comfortable with his audiences and fans in India and does not see himself being happy if he were to move to Hollywood.

Akshay is currently awaiting the release of his newest film, ‘Khatta Meetha’, and explains how the character he plays in the movie is a good fit for what it is he likes to do.  ”I feel comfortable playing both action and comic roles. I can perform anything but comedy is the toughest as it is very difficult to make somebody laugh. But I enjoy doing something challenging. ‘Khatta Meetha’ is my best comedy film,” he explained.

Though Akshay has had a fantastic career in Bollywood, it seems as though the actor is somewhat intimidated by a challenge like Hollywood. The scripts have a little more flash and controversy and the audiences are not always easy to impress, so it’s easy to see how a traditional Bollywood actor like Akshay would be afraid of making that kind of change. It’s just a shame that actors will hide behind their success as an excuse for not venturing onto bigger and better challenges. Oh well! I’m sure someone will have the courage eventually.

Katrina Kaif is by far one of the most beautiful and talented Bollywood actresses. She has been the key centerpiece for many different blockbusters in India, and with all of that success the actress has been paired up with some of Bollywood’s biggest names. However, the Kat insists that she prefers to share the big screen with Akshay Kumar over the rest.

Despite the romantic relationship that recently took place between Kat and actor Salman Khan it appears that the actress was less than impressed with any kind of on-screen chemistry between the two.

Katrina has also been linked with young heartthrob, Ranbir Kapoor, who has also inspired romantic rumors between himself and Kat, but again not a match to Akshay.

Katrina explains that she is just more comfortable working with Akshay, simply because the duo have worked together on so many occasions. Akshay is one name that has not been linked romantically with Katrina, and perhaps that lack of added pressure is what allows the two to show such quality in their films.

Kat is amongst the most wanted actress (romantically and professionally) in Bollywood, but it seems that the actress is set on who she wishes to play opposite of her. Akshay is one lucky guy!!!

Katrina Kaif has seen a lot of success along side her Bollywood colleague, Akshay Kumar, but she does not want to shove the pair of them down the throats of audiences. Katrina is already in place to co-star with Akshay in the upcoming, ‘Tees Maar Khan’, and it is because of that Katrina turned down a role in the film, ’Thank You’, by Anees Bazmee.

Despite the numerous efforts from Anees to convince Katrina to take a part in the film, it seems as though Akshay will have to get a new leading lady. Katrina has done the general public a huge favor by not wearing out the image of the two together on screen. With repetition like that characters start to become predictable and boring, and I think Katrina knows that.

Plus, every guy should get a chance to star next to the Bollywood knock-out. Whether her movies have been good or bad, one thing that doesn’t change is Katrina’s gorgeous features. Akshay also can benefit from the change in female counter-parts. There are plenty of beautiful leading ladies in Bollywood, so there is no need to confine anyone to a set partnership.

‘Top Chef’ is an American-TV cooking show, where a number a chefs compete for a cash prize and the prestigious title of ’Top Chef’. No Akshay Kumar will not be traveling across seas to shoot the show. Instead, the Bollywood actor will be hosting India’s version of ‘Top Chef’, similarly to how he hosted an Indian version of ’Fear Factor’.

‘Top Chef’ has encountered a lot of success and has been able to air six different seasons in various cities of the United States (Las Vegas, Chicago, New York, etc.). The interesting thing will be seeing the diversity the Indian version will have. In the states, the show celebrates the various backgrounds of each chef as well as the large variation of cooking styles, so will the desi version of the show do the same? Or will it be more focused on Indian chefs and cuisine?

Either way Akshay is a very talented actor, and a veteran of hosting television reality shows. Although the actor was replaced by the beautiful Priyanka Chopra on his last show  ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’, he will hope that this show’s original concept, outside the realm of dance and music, will lead to great success. Akshay better start practicing the sign-off line, “Please pack your knives and go!”

Bollywood’s best jodi Turned Into Ash Last Year… I am not talking about Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan but actually the dynamic duo Farah Khan and Shah Rukh Khan who as everyone knows parted ways due to creative differences. A nice way to say, yeah not interested in working with you because I am better than you.

The belief that nothing remains the same should make sense to Bollywood. One of the thickest bonds in Bollywood with blockbuster films like Main Hoon Na and Om Shanti Om, Shahrukh Khan and Farah Khan have recently gone down the drain. What was the reason behind this infamous Khan split?

Our sources found the reason behind the split of this extraordinary duo. It was known that Farah was keen on casting Shah Rukh in Tees Maar Khan but because Shahrukh could not find time and Farah could not afford to wait forever and finally decided to cast Akshay in the film. It seems this did not go down too well with SRK and Farah had to bear the repercussions.

Farah went to SRK to make him aware of her interest in remaking the old blockbuster Satte Pe Satta which failed to interest SRK. After hearing Farah for a while, SRK finally said a firm ‘no’ and showcased his disinterest in the film. Farah had already approached Raj Sippy’s son Mintoo to buy the copyrights of the film and he willingly accepted the proposal. Shahrukh reasoned saying that he did not want to do a remake of Mr. Bachchan’s film to which Farah retaliated saying that he had done the remake of Don. Shahrukh did not really like this reaction and the conversation ended calmly with Farah leaving his company.

King Khan has also refused to do Shirish Kunder’s film and showed disinterest in ‘The Zoya Factor’ based on a novel by Anuj Chauhan which Shirish was suppose to direct for his production house. This news will definitely be disappointing for the audiences who loved watching the dynamic duo together!

Lets just say that Shah Rukh Khan may be have also got jealous that Farah Khan found a man with Shirish and SRK no longer had his bestie!

Akshay Kumar is one of the biggest names in Bollywood films, however, the actor soon found out that his name does not carry as much weight in Canada. The actor was in the land of hockey, shooting his upcoming film, ‘Thank You,’ when he accidentally backed his car into a Canadian police officer’s car.

It seems as though the actor had jumped in his car and did not take the time to look over his shoulder because he backed straight into the police car. Witnesses say that the police car had just recently pulled in behind the actor, and since the actor was unaware of the car he simply put his car in reverse.

The incident resulted in a ticket and a pretty good-sized fine. Had this happened in India I’m sure the officers would have been a bit more lenient towards the big superstar. I’m sure Akshay had plenty of money to take care of the fine, and has gotten over the embarrassment of getting ticketed in public. And now he can say he is an international lawbreaker!

Despite it’s overall success, Sajid Khan, has read absolutely zero reviews of his brand new comedy, ‘Housefull‘, which stars big names such as Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone. Apparently Sajid, whose vision can be credited for the movies success, has made a religious vow (mannat) to himself not to read any reviews of the movie; NO MATTER WHAT!

“It isn’t as if I’ve anything against critics. It’s just a mannat I took during release. You see, I had actually satirized all the critics through a song I had composed naming them on stage at an awards function. There and then I decided I have no right to read reviews for my films,” explains Sajid.

Plus, who cares what they think right Sajid? Fact of the matter is; Sajid gets paid either way, as long as people go to see it. Sajid is so adament about the vow that he refuses to let cast members or those closest to him read reviews aloud in his presence. Now that is commitment, and at least we know he wont get a big head from all the good reviews.
