Ash Isn't a Superstar

So whose this gal making such a huge statement? Well we haven’t heard much about her before but I’m sure we will be hearing and seeing a lot more of her very soon. Aishwarya’s sister in law Shrima Rai is hoping to hit the limelight very soon. The full time banker and former Mrs India has started reading movie scripts and is furthering her modeling career, but for now her only claim to fame is her star studded in-laws Abhishek & Aishwarya Bachan.

Ash she says isn’t a superstar for her, shes first and foremost her sister in law and Shrima doesn’t believe in the dropping a name game to push her way into the entertainment industry. In fact she says that Aishwarya and her haven’t even spoken about her potential work and nor will she ask Ash to help her fetch future projects. So what do you guys think? Will we be seeing yet another “Rai” claim her fame on the big screen?? Well not everyone can claim the “Most Beautiful Women in the World” title and brisk their way to stardom…we’re sure Shrima is definitely going to have her work cut out for her.

Karan Johar Ignores Bachchan Jr!

Watch out Karan Johar, this mistake may prove to be quite costly. While out promoting for his upcoming Bollywood film “My Name is Khan“, Karan Johar was soo caught up in the moment that he didn’t spot Abhishek Bachchan’s wailing hands!

YUP! The Jr. Bachchan waved to Karan who was passing nearby, forget waving at him, the lost director didn’t even acknowledge his presence! And lucky for us Abhishek went straight home and started “Tweeting” away.

“Just passed Karan Johar on the road. And he didn’t wave back! Oooooh you in trouble now boy!” Abhishek posted on his ever so popular Twitter page. Well Karan, I don’t think chocolates and flowers are going to cut the deal, better get down on both knees…before the Big B steps in.

Abhishek Bachan earns Guinness Book World of Records Title

Bollywood has taken a new turn, not only have we created a niche for ourselves in the world of international entertainment but our actors are also carving a name for themselves with prestigious world titles. The Jr. Bachan is the newest addition to this fame. Abhishek Bachan is the first Indian actor to earn the prestigious Guinness Book World of Records title for the “maximum number of cities visited by a film star in 12 hours”.

Abhishek won the record while promoting his film “Delhi 6“.  His tour began in Ghaziabad under the guidelines of the Guiness Book World of Records with world media surrounding him.  The current record was equaled by Abhishek within five hours, broken in eight hours and by the time 12 hours had passed, Abhishek had visited 7 additional cities surpassing the world title.
The first actor to earn this title was Will Smith who was promoting his film “Hitch” and later won by Jargen Vogel and Daniel Bruhl of Germany. The Jr. Bachan was awarded the title at the Chevrolet Apsara Awards in front of thousands of fans and media personalities.

Abhishek shared that he’s  ”quite excited by the success, more so because it has been done for a film thats so close to my heart. This record I’d dedicate to the people of India”. Kudos to Abhishek Bachan, I’m sure the Big B must be proud.
