NEIL NITIN MUKESH TELLS SHAH RUKH AND SAIF ALI KHAN TO SHUTUP
Last week, things turned a little icy when Shah Rukh Khan decided to test the Neil Nitin Mukesh‘s patience. At the Filmfare Awards Shah Rukh Khan called Neil who asked why we had 3 surnames but no last name? Neil told Shah Rukh Khan to shut up. The crowd looked out in shock. Bipasha Basu and Katrina Kaif after the show rushed to Neil and told him to apologize. I mean who would have the balls to tell Shah Rukh Khan to shut up.
Talk about awkward…
Well relax people it was a stunt that was planned by Neil Nithin Mukesh and SRK to shock the audience.
To rewind a bit: At the Filmfare awards, co-hosts Shah Rukh and Saif Ali Khan decided to take on Neil on stage, riling him endlessly. The final straw was the digs that Shah Rukh took at Neil’s name.
“Neil,” said Shah Rukh, “Why do you have three first names and no surname? My name is Khan. Saif too is a Khan. How come you have no last name?”
Neil couldn’t take the slight to his family name. He not-so-gently reminded Shah Rukh that he ought to restrain himself because his, Neil’s, father was sitting in the audience. And then, horror of horrors, he told Shah Rukh to just shut up. There was an uncomfortable silence in the auditorium.
Recalling the incident with an uncomfortable laugh, Neil said: “I’m still shaking. Imagine me telling Shah Rukh Khan to shut up! But I did. That isn’t all. At the end of the show I walked up to Shah Rukh and Saif and broke eggs on their heads.” But relax. It was all part of an act.
“It was all planned by Shah Rukh sir. I was told by the organisers, the Moranis, from beforehand that I was supposed to be part of Shah Rukh’s act. I was supposed to reach early and rehearse for it. But as luck would have it I had gone to town to pick up my parents and got stuck in the traffic. By the time I reached the venue there was only time for a quick briefing on what I had to do.”
Shah Rukh walked up to Neil and quickly told him the plan on stage. Check out the video and watch this crazy scene..
Filmfare Fashion Frenzy
The Filmfare Awards is one of the most prestigious award show in the Bollywood industry. Everyone always wants to look their best, especially if they’re up for an award. But do you want to know what is really the best part – it’s when some of the biggest stars walk the red carpet NOT looking like a million bucks!
With that in mind, every award show has its best and worst dressed and trust me, those attending the 2010 Filmfare Awards were nothing short of worst!
Evidence #1:
Mugdha Godse: She rocked a sheer purple colored saree that looks straight out of blingy saas-bahu show. And if that wasn’t bad enough, the red lipstick, damn, that needs to go FAST!
Mahi Gill: At first it looks ‘iight,’ but take a secnd look. The gown wasn’t 1/2 as bad as her two-tone skin color. I mean, if you’re goig to use foundation on your face, then at least do something which looks natural. The last thing you want is your face looking ghostly and your skin all nice and tan!
Lara Dutta: This former Crown-rocker is known to have class and style when she’s out and about. She’s also been named one of the most stylish women in Bollywood, so it was surpring when she came to the awards show rocking a tie-dyed Chinese satin gown; might I mention it looked really bad?!
Evidence #2:
Simi Garewal: I got three words for you – Dress Your Age!
Tanisha: You need styling lessons from your sister Kajol. ’nuff said!
Shruti: Firstly, who the hell are you and why are you at the Bollywood awards?! [I hate when no-name actors are there, thinking they're all that and more!] Anyways, she wore a beige colored Christian Dior outfit at the awards show. My advice, and I’m sure Dior would agree…don’t ever say in public that it’s a CD dress because I’m sure it was when the company first started and was a ‘re-call’ item
Some of these actresses need to stop giving big designers bad names!
My thoughts: These women NEED A STYLIST…badly!
Who according to you looks the worst?
